Happy Thanksgiving

                    Happy Thanksgiving!

Whether it is an official holiday where you live or not, I hope your day today is a blessed one. I have more to be thankful for, and more blessings than I deserve. However, today I want to express my thanks for this community.

I see how open and true people are about sharing their thoughts and feelings. At work or at church, or even with some family members, when you ask "how are you doing", you almost always hear the perfunctory "I'm doing great, thanks"! But here, feelings and problems as well as joys and concerns are fully shared.....and then listened to with sympathy and understanding, and in the joyous moments, genuine celebration.

I am thankful for what I have learned about how women think! Not that I will ever totally get it! Reminds me of the joke about the man who found a bottle and when he rubbed it a genie came out. The genie granted him one wish, so he said "I have always wanted to visit Hawaii, but I am afraid of boats and planes so please construct a highway from California so I can drive". The genie said do you know how impossibly difficult that would be, are you crazy? Isn't there anything else you want. The man thought and then said "OK tell me how to understand women". The genie then asked, do you want that to be a two lane or four lane highway!

Ladies, reading your words expressing your innermost feelings and thoughts has given me an opportunity to see things from a different perspective. For that I am thankful!

I am especially thankful for the special friends I have met here. Although you are miles away, you have greeted me like a new next door neighbor, knocking on my door and offering a smile and a dozen fresh baked chocolate chip cookies just to say hello and welcome. I know as a spanked male, I am in a minority, yet I feel accepted and indeed even encouraged to join in the conversations. Thank you.

I am not naive enough to believe that everyone is as they appear and I realize there are those who might even have nefarious motives. But I have yet to see anyone who has not been caring, kind, supportive and respectful of others. In summary, if this were a real town, I would not want to live anywhere else!

Hugs and Blessings to all,
George

Viagra, Cialis, or Levitra

I don't know about you but I get a kick out of all the erectile dysfunction advertisements. You know, the ones for Viagra, Cialis, and Levitra. It always amazes me how the couples are so fit and healthy looking....and the women are always attractive and always very receptive to the guys subtle ways of  communicating "heh babe, wanna fool around?".

And afterwards...or is it before...they end up in separate tubs, usually outdoors?

I always feel sorry for the Viagra guys because they always have problems. But since they are older and have figured everything out, nothing slows them down! They can fix anything, just like MacGyver.

And it always appeared to me the women in the Levitra ads were as happy or happier than the guys! It's like after taking Levitra she says "wow honey, haven't seen you look like this in years"!

And then of course always check to see if you are healthy enough for sex, followed by my favorite disclaimer of all...if you get an erection lasting more than four hours see your doctor immediately! (we should all be so lucky) :-))

I am fast approaching the age of 63 and so I have been curious about how long I can expect certain body parts to continue functioning, with or without above wonder drugs (if you get my drift). *wink*

Well, I decided to find out. Now, I am not shy when visiting my Dr. so on my last check up I asked him to explain to me in detail exactly how things worked. He provided a detailed explanation of precisely how things functioned. If you are interested email me, otherwise, the answer I was most curious about was that he had some men who experienced ED as early as 40 and others who were sexually active in their 80's with no need for any of the aforementioned drugs!

Wow, exciting news! So naturally I rushed straight home and told Nina that one way or another I should be able to rise to the occasion for at least another twenty years! *wink*

Blessings,
George

A Random Thought

I was at the grocery store the other day and found myself observing some of the other shoppers and thought, I wonder if they are into TTWD?  I also find myself doing this at any public venue. I think, what if they are just as interested as I and we could somehow connect and share our stories.

I have read the early Christians during the time of Roman persecution, used the sign of the fish or Ichthys as a code  to express their affinity to Christianity. Ichthys is the Ancient Greek word for "fish." The "Christian fish," or "Jesus fish" symbol consists of two intersecting arcs tracing the outline of a fish (most commonly with the fish "swimming" to the left) One person would draw half and if the other was also a Christian, they would complete the picture by drawing the other half.

I was at a restaurant the other night and while waiting for our dinner, got in to a very nice conversation with the couple at the table next to ours. We talked about where we each lived, our vocations, sports and parts of the country we liked best. It was a very nice dinner experience and I thought, what if they were a TTWD couple? As comfortable as I was talking with them, it just didn't seem like the thing to ask!

That's when I thought, wouldn't it be great if we had a secret symbol and could communicate with random others just like the early Christians! It was just a passing thought and although not practical, I decided to share it here on my blog.

I am certain I will continue to observe and wonder about passing strangers and hope they are as lucky as Nina and I. Anyone else want to admit to being as crazy curious as I am?

Blessings,
George

Love Our Lurkers

Hello friendly Lurkers and welcome! My name is George and I asked my wife, Nina, to spank me! We have been married for 37 years and she has been spanking me off and on for about 26 of those years. I get spanked for stress relief and for fun, but unlike some, we do not do punishment spankings, nor are we a Domestic Discipline (DD) couple. I have no objections to either as long as it is consensual, it is just not for us.

I, like most everyone, started out as a lurker and would comment as anonymous, then created a blog name and finally a blog of my own and have been blogging for about 6 months. What I have discovered is an amazing group of kind hearted and caring individuals and I am happy to say I have made some great new friends along the way.

As a community we support each other and we compare adventures, but mostly we share. We share our ups and downs, our celebrations and our sorrows, and sometimes just random thoughts. Being a spanked husband, I am a minority blog, however, I have never felt anything other than welcome.

If you have a question, I would be happy to try and answer.  If you are inclined, just say hello, I would love to hear from you.

Blessings,
George
